Celebrating Diversity with our Fashion Show

On May 13th, Crewe Hall was filled with the vibrant colours and dynamic energy of the Alpha Omega WPS Fashion Show. This spectacular event brought together fashion enthusiasts, community members and local businesses to celebrate diversity, inclusivity and community spirit in South Cheshire.

The heart of the Alpha Omega WPS Unisex Fashion Show was its inclusive runway, featuring models from various backgrounds. The event proudly showcased traditional attire and garments from local boutiques, emphasising inclusivity and representation of all sizes and cultures.

In addition to the stunning fashion show, the event provided an excellent opportunity for local businesses to gain visibility and support a worthy cause. Businesses were invited to secure free stands at Crewe Hall’s event centre, allowing them to showcase their products and services to a diverse audience. This collaborative spirit highlighted the importance of community support and the positive impact it can have on local initiatives.

The Alpha Omega WPS Fashion Show was not just about fashion; it was an evening filled with fun, excitement and community engagement. The event kicked off with reception drinks at 5:30 pm, followed by the much-anticipated fashion show. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed entertainment, participated in raffles and explored stalls offering a variety of products.

The success of the raffle was made possible by our generous sponsors. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Crewe Hall, Nantwich Nutrition, Jouvence Aesthetics Cheshire, Alder Ease Physiotherapy, Alder Ease Cosmetics and Della Farrington. Your contributions significantly enhanced the event and added to the excitement of the night.

Proceeds from the Alpha Omega WPS Fashion Show directly contribute to the WPS Foundation’s mission of promoting equality and security for local women of all ethnicities. By attending or sponsoring the event, individuals and businesses played a pivotal role in supporting happier, fulfilled lives within the community.

A word from our founder Amaka

“The successful launch of our maiden annual fashion show held on the 13th of May at the lovely Crewe Hall hotel and spa has once again highlighted the rich and colourful tapestry woven when cultures meet and merge.  During the fashion show, guests were treated to an array of Western, African, Asian, and Urban fashion in a fun and upbeat runway display. Vendors and designers also had the chance to sell after the sumptuous three course meal that heralded the nights events. I feel particularly elated that once more, apart from being a first in our community, we were able to convey our most passionate message of diversity, equity and inclusion through a light hearted and fun way as the fashion show. I have long wished for this celebration of our uniqueness, and I could not have asked for a better “first”.
