The Alpha Omega WPS Foundation is committed to enhancing community well-being through self-care and healthy habits. Our schemes offer a supportive environment where women can thrive together. By participating in our sessions, we aim to see improvements in both physical and psychological well-being.
Exercise is an incredible tool for mental health improvement, reducing anxiety, depression, and negative moods while boosting self-esteem and cognitive function. It has the power to alleviate symptoms such as low self-esteem and social withdrawal, enabling you to lead a more vibrant and fulfilling life.
Inclusive Shake It Off Sessions
Our inclusive Shake It Off program is supported by Sport England and The National Lottery Community Fund. This initiative is designed to create a safe, empowering space for all women in Crewe. We're dedicated to fostering a stronger, more connected community where our participants’ health takes centre stage.
Our comprehensive plan features 36 invigorating sessions, each lasting 60 minutes, covering HIIT/Tabata, Fitness, and Yoga. Open to 60 ethnically diverse women, our program aims to achieve the following key objectives:

Wellbeing Day and Relaxation Classes
Our mission is to create a nurturing place where women can reconnect, recharge, and heal on multiple levels. In a world that often demands so much from women, we're here to remind you that self-care is not optional; it's a vital activity to safeguard your mental health and nourish your body and soul.
Within our inclusive, diverse, and safe circle, we champion the notion that all women are deserving of care. Far too often, we neglect this essential aspect of well-being. Our events are vibrant gatherings designed to empower women to prioritise their wellness, reshape their mindsets, and cultivate a profound appetite for growth and self-preservation.
A shining example of our commitment is our "Love Thyself" free pamper day for women in Crewe. This beautiful event served as a gentle yet powerful reminder that you are always enough and rest is a necessity, not a luxury. Within our safe space, women found the opportunity to recharge, connect, and indulge in joyful relaxation.
In collaboration with The International School of Beauty Therapy, we organised a day filled with dance, massages, relaxation, and delectable treats. Our priority of inclusion and diversity ensures that every woman feels welcomed and celebrated.
Safety Inside-Out Hub
Recognising the intrinsic link between physical and mental health, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and supportive environment that empowers women to prioritise their holistic well-being. Our commitment to women's health is exemplified through the creation of an exceptional Safety Inside-Out Hub initiative in Crewe. Thanks to the generous funding from Crewe Town Council, we are thrilled to launch a transformative project offering free sessions explicitly designed to enhance women's well-being.
At the heart of our initiative are sessions tailored to cater to the diverse needs of women. From rejuvenating sound baths to stress-relieving techniques like yoga, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release and gua sha, we aim to provide holistic care that goes beyond the surface.
Our sessions in lymphatic drainage offer a gentle yet powerful technique to stimulate the lymphatic system, promoting detoxification, reducing swelling, and enhancing the body's natural ability to eliminate toxins. Designed to release tension, our myofascial release sessions target the connective tissue surrounding muscles, improving flexibility and reducing pain. The ancient practice of Gua Sha involves scraping the skin to stimulate blood flow, release tension, and promote healing. Our Gua Sha sessions not only contribute to improved skin health but also facilitate relaxation, reducing muscle stiffness and promoting a sense of calm and balance. Yoga offers a holistic approach, enhancing flexibility and strength and calming the mind through mindful practices, our yoga sessions cater to diverse needs.
Our goal is to create a space where women can recharge, improve their overall health, and connect with other remarkable individuals. This initiative is not just about physical well-being; it's a holistic approach to nurturing the mental and emotional resilience of women in our community.
