Believed to be the first festival of its kind in the region, Afro Fest promises a colourful showcase of African-inspired music, dance, fashion, food and community spirit , all designed to bring people together in a joyful, carnival-style atmosphere.

The event is the vision of Amaka Lawton, founder of the award-winning Alpha Omega WPS Foundation in Crewe. Originally from Nigeria, Amaka says the festival is her way of celebrating African culture while giving back to the community she now calls home.
