We are thrilled at the success of our second Annual Dinner and Fundraiser, a night filled with magic, camaraderie, and a deep sense of purpose. Held on December 1st at Crewe Hall, the event was a celebration of our shared commitment to making a positive impact on the Cheshire community.

From the moment guests arrived, there was a wonderful sense of excitement and unity. The venue came alive with laughter, joy, and the spirit of giving, creating an atmosphere that set the tone for the entire evening.

Our founder Amaka took us through a presentation showcasing the successes of the year, which puts into perspective the amount we have accomplished in such a short space of time. We are immensely proud to see the difference we have made in our community and hope to continue providing support to those who need it.

A key highlight of the night was the unexpected honour of receiving the High Sheriff Award. This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of everyone involved with our foundation and the positive impact we’ve had on the Cheshire community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have played a part in our journey.

It was an honour to be joined on the night by dignitaries, local businesses and our keynote speaker Lisa Baskott. Lisa was named one of the most influential businesswomen in the UK this year and advises the British Transport Police on initiatives against violence on women and girls. It was inspiring to hear about her experiences, especially regarding women in the security industry, as she earned her Security Industry Authority (SIA) door supervisor licence in September 2021 and joined the national Security Skills Board in June 2023.

One of the most anticipated moments of the evening was the unveiling of our upcoming calendar. Crafted by our brave women, this special calendar features beautiful photos reflecting individual stories of bravery, accompanied by empowering affirmations.

The night was further enhanced by the amazing Stringmania and The Talent Band, creating the perfect backdrop for the festivities. Our charismatic host, Jed Stone, skilfully guided us through the programme, providing lots of laughs and entertainment.

The excitement continued with thrilling raffles, auctions, and games throughout the night, offering guests the chance to win fantastic prizes. It was fantastic to see the dance floor alive with laughter and movement as we all celebrated a fantastic year of achievements.
