Ashley graduated from Lancaster University in 1987 with a degree in law. However, following a local opportunity he made the switch to Accountancy and progressed from trainee to Partner at Lyon Griffiths & Co. becoming a fully qualified Chartered Account and Financial Advisor along the way. In 2016 he decided to take on a new career opportunity by moving to Fayrefield Foods Ltd as Group Financial Director.

Through his work in and around Crewe and Nantwich, over the last 30 years Ashley has made a number of contacts in the area. He is an active member of The Rotary Club in Nantwich, raising funds and organising events for good causes both locally and internationally. He has also been heavily involved with the Guy Harvey Youth Club in Nantwich.

In his spare time Ashley enjoys walking, travel and attending musical events (or rocking out at live concerts!) and is sometimes able to combine the two by travelling to various events throughout Europe.

Having known Ken Lawton for many years and having seen his drive and determination to make any project with which he is involved succeed Ashley is glad to bring his knowledge and expertise to help guide the Alpha Omega Women Peace and Security Foundation to make real changes to people’s lives.
